Frequently Asked Questions about Herbz, CBD and THCA
Here you'll find answers to the most common questions about our products, cannabinoids, documentation, ordering, shipping and returns.
Legality and Documentation
Products with cannabis-related ingredients must be assessed based on the specific product's content, product category, documentation, purpose, and marketing. A product is therefore not automatically legal simply because it is labeled as CBD or THCA.
At Herbz, the product-specific cannabinoid values are listed on each individual product page. Legislation may change, and the information in this FAQ should not be considered legal advice.
CBD products are not automatically legal or illegal as a single product category. The legal assessment depends, among other things, on the product's composition, classification, purpose, and marketing.
Always refer to the information and documentation for the specific product rather than judging it solely by the label "CBD."
Legality must be assessed for the specific product and not solely on the basis that the product contains THCA. The product's other contents, documentation, product category, and marketing may also be relevant to the assessment.
On Herbz's product pages, you can see the stated values for, among other things, THCA and THC for each individual product.
It means that the analyzed THC content is stated to be less than 0.2% in the relevant sample or batch.
This threshold is relevant under Danish regulatory controls on cannabis-related substances, but a THC content below 0.2% does not, on its own, constitute general approval of the product. The product's overall classification, documentation, and marketing must also comply with applicable regulations.
No. Products based on natural plant material can vary slightly between different harvests and batches. These variations can be seen in color, structure, aroma, and measured cannabinoid percentages, among other things.
The information for the current batch is therefore always what's relevant.
Herbz states that its products are tested and analyzed to document, among other things, cannabinoid content. On each product page, you can view the available product specifications for the current variant.
A lab report is a document containing analysis results for a specific sample. The report may include, among other things:
- the laboratory's name
- report or sample number
- analysis date
- batch number
- measured cannabinoid values
- analysis method used
The report should be traceable to the specific product or batch.
The percentages show what measurable share of the sample consists of the cannabinoid in question. CBD, THCA, THC, and other cannabinoids may be listed separately.
Always check that the report's product name or batch number matches the product you want information about.
Start by checking the product description on the relevant product page. If you need further documentation, you can contact Herbz at mail@herbz.dk and provide the product name and, if applicable, the batch number.
Keep the product's original packaging, order details, and any available product documentation. Follow the authority's instructions, and contact Herbz at mail@herbz.dk if you need the documentation available for the product.
Herbz cannot provide individual legal advice. For a specific legal matter, you should contact a qualified advisor.
Cannabinoids and Product Terminology
Cannabinoids are a group of chemical compounds that occur naturally in, among other things, the cannabis plant. CBD, THCA, THC, and CBN are examples of cannabinoids.
Each compound has its own chemical structure and is normally listed separately in a lab analysis.
CBD stands for cannabidiol. Cannabidiol is a naturally occurring cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant.
On product pages and lab reports, CBD content is normally listed as a percentage of the analyzed sample.
THCA stands for tetrahydrocannabinolic acid. It is a naturally occurring cannabinoid with a different chemical structure than THC.
In product descriptions and lab reports, THCA and THC are therefore listed as separate values.
No. THCA and THC are two different chemical compounds. They have different molecular structures and are recorded as separate cannabinoids in a lab analysis.
THC stands for tetrahydrocannabinol. THC is a cannabinoid subject to specific regulations in Denmark.
Herbz's product pages list the product-specific THC content whenever this information is available.
CBN stands for cannabinol. CBN is a cannabinoid with its own chemical structure and can appear as a separate value in a lab report.
Terpenes are naturally occurring aromatic compounds found in many different plants. They help create a plant's characteristic scent profile.
Terpene profiles can be described as, among other things, citrusy, spicy, floral, earthy, or fruity.
Industrial hemp refers to hemp varieties that are cultivated and used for various industrial purposes. Specific rules apply to, among other things, varieties, cultivation, plant parts, and the products made from the plant.
The term industrial hemp therefore does not, on its own, mean that any product made from the plant is automatically legal.
Top buds are the flowers from the uppermost part of the cannabis plant. They can vary in size, density, color, structure, trichome coverage, and terpene profile.
Since this is natural plant material, images on the webshop cannot always capture every individual top bud with complete precision.
Trichomes are small structures on the surface of the plant. On cannabis flowers, they can appear as a fine or crystal-like layer.
The amount and appearance of trichomes can vary depending on, among other things, strain, growing conditions, and harvest.
Hash is a general product term for material that primarily consists of the plant's collected and pressed trichomes or resin particles.
Appearance, color, firmness, and cannabinoid profile can vary considerably between individual product types.
These terms describe the plant's growing environment:
Indoor means the plant was grown indoors under controlled conditions.
Outdoor means the plant was grown outdoors.
Greenhouse means the plant was grown in a greenhouse.
The growing environment can affect the plant's appearance, structure, and aroma.
The images show a representative example of the product. Natural plant material varies, so the product you receive may show minor differences in size, shape, color, and structure, among other things.
However, the product name, variant, and weight will match your order.
The aroma comes largely from the product's natural terpene profile. Small variations between plants, harvests, and batches are normal.
Storage and the product's age can also affect how pronounced the aroma is.
Always follow the storage instructions on the product's packaging or product page. As a general rule, the product should be stored out of reach of children and protected from direct sunlight, moisture, and significant temperature fluctuations.
The specific instructions for the product always take precedence.
