Frequently Asked Questions about Herbz, CBD, and THCA
Here you will find answers to the most common questions about our products, cannabinoids, documentation, ordering, delivery, and returns.
Legality and documentation
Products with cannabis-related ingredients must be assessed based on the specific product's content, product category, documentation, purpose, and marketing. A product therefore does not automatically become legal simply because it is labelled as CBD or THCA.
At Herbz, product-specific cannabinoid values are stated on each product page. Legislation may change, and the information in this FAQ should not be considered legal advice.
CBD products are not automatically legal or illegal as one single product group. The legal assessment depends on, among other things, the product's composition, classification, purpose, and marketing.
Therefore, always refer to the information and documentation for the specific product rather than assessing it solely based on the term CBD.
Legality must be assessed for the specific product and not solely based on the product containing THCA. The product's other content, documentation, product category, and marketing can all be significant factors in the assessment.
On Herbz' product pages, you can see the stated values for THCA and THC, among other things, for each individual product.
This means that the analysed THC content is stated as less than 0.2% in the relevant sample or batch.
This limit is relevant in regulations concerning euphoriant substances, but a THC content below 0.2% is not in itself a general approval of the product. The product's overall classification, documentation, and marketing must also comply with applicable regulations.
No. Products based on natural plant material may vary slightly between different harvests and batches. Variations can be seen in colour, texture, aroma, and the measured cannabinoid percentages, among other things.
Therefore, the information about the current batch is always the relevant information.
Herbz states that the products are tested and analysed to document, among other things, the cannabinoid content. On each product page, you can view the available product specifications for the current variant.
A laboratory report is a document presenting analysis results for a specific sample. The report may include:
- name of the laboratory
- report or sample number
- analysis date
- batch number
- measured cannabinoid values
- analysis method used
The report should be linkable to the specific product or batch.
The percentages show how large a measurable proportion of the sample consists of the specific cannabinoid. CBD, THCA, THC, and other cannabinoids may be listed separately.
Always verify that the product name or batch number on the report matches the product you are seeking information about.
Start by viewing the product description on the relevant product page. If you require further documentation, please contact Herbz at mail@herbz.dk, stating the product name and batch number, if applicable.
Retain the product's original packaging, order information, and any available product documentation. Follow the authority's instructions and contact Herbz at mail@herbz.dk if you need the documentation available for the product.
Herbz cannot provide individual legal advice. In the event of a specific legal matter, you should contact a qualified advisor.
Cannabinoids and Product Concepts
Cannabinoids are a group of chemical compounds, found naturally, among other places, in the cannabis plant. CBD, THCA, THC, and CBN are examples of cannabinoids.
The different compounds each have their own chemical structure and are usually listed separately in a laboratory analysis.
CBD is short for cannabidiol. Cannabidiol is a naturally occurring cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant.
On product pages and lab reports, CBD content is usually stated as a percentage of the analysed sample.
THCA is an abbreviation for tetrahydrocannabinolic acid. It is a naturally occurring cannabinoid with a different chemical structure than THC.
In product descriptions and laboratory reports, THCA and THC are therefore stated as separate values.
No. THCA and THC are two different chemical compounds. They have different molecular structures and are registered as separate cannabinoids in a laboratory analysis.
THC is an abbreviation for tetrahydrocannabinol. THC is a cannabinoid that is subject to specific regulations in Denmark.
On Herbz' product pages, the product-specific THC content is indicated when the information is available.
CBN is short for cannabinol. CBN is a cannabinoid with its own chemical structure and can appear as a separate value in a laboratory report.
Terpenes are naturally occurring aromatic compounds found in many different plants. They help create a plant's characteristic scent profile.
Terpene profiles can be described as citrusy, spicy, floral, earthy, or fruity, among others.
Industrial hemp is the term for hemp varieties that are cultivated and used for various industrial purposes. Special rules apply to varieties, cultivation, plant parts, and products manufactured from the plant.
The term industrial hemp therefore does not automatically mean that every product made from the plant is legal.
Top buds are the flowers from the top part of the cannabis plant. They can vary in size, density, color, structure, trichome coverage, and terpene profile.
As this is natural plant material, the images in the webshop may not always precisely reflect every single top bud.
Trichomes are small structures on the surface of the plant. On cannabis flowers, they can be seen as a fine or crystal-like layer.
The quantity and appearance of trichomes can vary depending on, among other things, the strain, growing conditions, and harvest.
Hash is an umbrella product term for material primarily consisting of the plant's collected and pressed trichomes or resin parts.
Appearance, colour, firmness, and cannabinoid profile can vary significantly between individual product types.
These terms describe the product's cultivation environment:
Indoor means the plant was grown indoors under controlled conditions.
Outdoor means the plant was grown outdoors.
Greenhouse means the plant was grown in a greenhouse.
The cultivation environment can influence the plant's appearance, structure, and aroma.
The images show a representative example of the product. Natural plant material varies, and the delivered product may therefore have minor differences in size, shape, color, and structure, among other things.
However, the product name, variant, and weight must correspond to your order.
The aroma comes partly from the product's natural terpene profile. Small variations between plants, harvests and batches are normal.
Storage and the product's age can also affect how prominent the aroma is.
Always follow the storage instructions on the product packaging or product page. As a general rule, the product should be kept out of reach of children and protected from direct sunlight, moisture, and large temperature fluctuations.
The specific instructions for the product always take precedence.
